Common use of Export Administration Act Clause in Contracts

Export Administration Act. Customer agrees that unless prior written authorization is obtained from the United States Bureau of Export Administration, or the United States Export Administration Regulations explicitly permit the re-export without such written authorization, or from any other applicable governmental authority it will not export, re-export, or transship, directly or indirectly, the Product or any technical data disclosed or provided to Customer, or the direct product of such technical data, to country groups Q, S, W, Y or Z (as defined in the Export Administration Regulations) or to any other country as to which the US or other Government has placed an embargo against the shipment of products, or types of products, which is in effect during the term of this Agreement.
