Common use of Export Laws Compliance Clause in Contracts

Export Laws Compliance. Recipient acknowledges that materials Cisco supplies under the Agreement may be subject to export or import controls under the laws and regulations of the United States. Recipient will comply with such laws and regulations, and, agrees not to knowingly export, re-export, import or re-import, or transfer Cisco materials without first obtaining all required U.S. Government approvals or licenses. Cisco and Recipient agree to provide the other information and assistance as each may reasonably require in connection with securing such approvals or licenses, and to take timely action to obtain all required support documents. Recipient agrees to maintain a record of exports, re-exports, and transfers of any Cisco materials for five years and to forward within that period any required records to Cisco or, at Cisco's request, the U.S. Government. Recipient agrees to permit Cisco or the U.S. Government to audits as required under appropriate regulations to ensure compliance with this provision
