Common use of Extending the Term Clause in Contracts

Extending the Term. The Parties may extend, by mutual written agreement, the term of this Agreement if research opportunities or the goals or objectives of the project are within the scope set forth in Article I reasonably warrant. Any extension shall be formalized through revision of the Agreement by the OTAO and the Recipient Business Official (RBO) and shall be subject to the availability of funds.
