Extension Lecturer Responsibilities. 6 6.3.1. In addition to regular teaching-related responsibilities, Extension Lecturers in the 7 Probationary Period shall: 8 • administer student evaluations for each class taught; 9 • observe one peer Extension Lecturer each quarter; 10 • submit a Self Report to the Supervising Director. This Report shall be submitted 11 during the quarter the Extension Lecturer is teaching her/his last class of the 12 Probationary Period but not later than the first week of the following quarter. The 13 Report shall include the dates, classes and names of the Extension Lecturers 14 observed and any other information the Extension Lecturer wants to include that 15 indicates her/his accomplishments and contributions to the program. 16 6.3.2. Extension Lecturers will be dropped from the Probationary Period if they choose 17 not to submit a preference sheet survey or if they do not accept a teaching assignment 18 from the preliminary teaching schedule in two (2) consecutive quarters; if dropped 19 Extension Lecturers are rehired at a future date, they will return to the beginning of the 20 Probationary Period.
