Extension of Leave Sample Clauses

The Extension of Leave clause allows an employee to request additional time off beyond their initially approved leave period. Typically, this clause outlines the process for submitting an extension request, such as providing advance notice and any required documentation, and specifies the employer's discretion in approving or denying the extension. Its core practical function is to provide a clear framework for handling situations where employees need more time away from work, ensuring both parties understand the procedure and reducing misunderstandings.
