Common use of Extenuating Circumstances Clause in Contracts

Extenuating Circumstances. The prior approval requirement shall not apply to the following reasons: 1.) Death of a member of the immediate family. Requests granted under this section shall be in addition to those provided under ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Leave of this Article. 2.) Accident or serious illness involving the unit member or his/her property, or the person or property of a member of the immediate family.
