FACILITIES AND SUPPORT. 10.1 The University shall determine and provide Lecturer Faculty with facilities and services appropriate to the performance of their job duties and conducive to performing their duties in a professional manner.
10.2 Lecturer Faculty will be assigned to office space by the Department Chair or other unit administrator, adequate to fit at least a desk, a guest chair, and book storage space per occupant. Where departmental space allocations allow, this will be a private office space in proximity to their home department or program.
10.2.1 Private office space shall be given to Principal Lecturers. Principal Lecturers shall not be involuntarily displaced from their offices in favor of newer faculty members of any type.
10.2.2 Senior Lecturers with ten (10) or more years of UNH faculty service shall not be involuntarily displaced from their offices, whether private or shared, in favor of newer faculty members of any type.
10.2.3 Where space constraints necessitate the sharing of offices among Lecturer Faculty already in post, the reasons for this will be communicated in writing to the individuals in question.
10.2.4 In situations in which office space must be shared among Lecturer Faculty of equal rank, the particular requirements of individuals’ assigned teaching and service activities will be given consideration in the office assignment.
10.2.5 When the space is not sufficient for private offices, there shall be designated space made available for Lecturer Faculty to schedule private meetings with students or colleagues.
10.3 Situations necessitating an involuntary modification of office assignment will be based on demonstrable programmatic, facilities or logistical needs. Lecturer Faculty will be given at least 45 days notice of such changes, unless an unforeseen situation dictates otherwise.
10.4 The University shall provide each Lecturer Faculty member with reasonable office and computer support equipment, supplies, and services to enable email and mail communication; access to relevant facilities and administrative support; library privileges; and computing capability including access to course management software and software required for the delivery of course materials.

FACILITIES AND SUPPORT. The Company shall provide Consultant with office space, equipment and support reasonably necessary to perform the tasks which are performed on the premises of the Company. 7.4 The Host shall ensure that the Student has a safe working environment and provide the Student with an induction in its workplace health and safety arrangements, including fire precautions, specific hazards and health and safety precautions.
7.5 The Host shall include the Student in its risk assessment programme as it affects activities undertaken by the Host and provide appropriate instruction and training in its working practices and in any particular control measures identified in such risk assessments.
7.6 The Host will record and investigate accidents and incidents and shall notify the Lead of any accidents and incidents involving the Student that the Host is made aware of.

IV.7.1 In order to facilitate members' performance of their duties and responsibilities, the University shall make every reasonable effort to provide the necessary facilities and services to support the work of the members as defined in Article VIII. These facilities shall include but not be limited to:
(a) Provisions for office space,
(b) Provisions for lab space, where required,
(c) Telephone or telephony services,
(d) Library services,
(e) Duplicating and printing, and
(f) Computer facilities. This support shall include:
(a) Administrative support,
(b) Information technology support,
(c) Research support,
(d) Student services support, and
(e) Teaching support.
IV.7.2 The University shall ensure that the computing needs of members are fairly and equitably treated in the allocation of computer services.

IV.7.4 If a member’s ability to perform their duties under VIII.1.1 or VIII.1.2 is significantly impaired by a reduction in facilities or services as previously provided, the member may appeal to the ▇▇▇▇. IV.7.5 Upon appointment and at least every four years thereafter, members holding probationary, tenure stream or permanent appointments shall be provided a new standard Trent-imaged desktop computer including a standard suite of office productivity and presentation software. Should a member wish to upgrade the standard issue desktop to an upgraded desktop, laptop, or Macintosh computer, the member will be able to do so by allocating any additional costs to their Professional Expenses Fund, or to a research account at the University provided the account does not restrict the University from maintaining ownership of the computer. This computer shall be maintained and provided network printer access without charge to the member or the member’s department.
IV.7.6 Changes to the administrative processes implemented by the University, that may impact the terms and conditions of TUFA members’ work will be brought to Joint Committee for information.
