Common use of Faculty Workweek Clause in Contracts

Faculty Workweek. A. Each full-time instructional faculty member will be responsible for a combined total of twenty-five (25) weekly class hours and office hours. Every instructional faculty member will teach fifteen (15) classroom contact hours per week in each of the Fall and Spring terms or their equivalent. Each term will consist of an average of eighty (80) potential class and examination days during a period of time not to exceed seventeen (17) weeks in duration, or a total of not more than 165 scheduled class days. Faculty will be required to participate in scheduled departmental, discipline, and college-wide or campus-related activities, and to perform any other duties required to fulfill their instructional or programmatic obligations as delineated elsewhere in this article.
