Common use of FAMILIARITY WITH LAWS AND ORDINANCES Clause in Contracts

FAMILIARITY WITH LAWS AND ORDINANCES. Contractor is assumed to have made itself familiar with all laws, ordinances and regulations which in any manner affect those engaged or employed in the Work, or the materials or equipment used in or upon the improvement, or in any way affect the conduct of the Work. No plea of misunderstanding will be considered on account of the ignorance thereof. The provisions of such laws or ordinances are deemed to be a part of these Specifications, and Contractor shall be bound by the provisions thereof.
