Common use of Familiarization Flights Clause in Contracts

Familiarization Flights. A flight during which an employee may be permitted to visit the cockpit of the aircraft during a flight. An on-site tour of an air traffic control facility during which the employee has the opportunity to observe all aspects of the operation. The period commencing January 1, 1985 and each new period commencing at three-year intervals from that date.
