Common use of Fatigue Management Program (FMP) Clause in Contracts

Fatigue Management Program (FMP). 8.10.1 In order to improve employee health and safety and reduce the occurrence of fatigue related incidents all employees undertaking long distance work will be required to participate in an accredited Fatigue Management Program. For this agreement, an ‘accredited’ FMP is any program that is approved under an act of a federal, state or territory parliament for the purpose of managing employee fatigue. This shall be paid for by the company and will not be subject to cost recovery should the employee cease employment with the company. The implementation of the Fatigue Management training shall be discussed within the Consultative Committee during the term of this Agreement.
