Common use of FAVORED NATIONS CLAUSE Clause in Contracts

FAVORED NATIONS CLAUSE. (a) It is agreed that if, during the life of this Agreement, should the Union grant a more favorable agreement to any Employer, then such more favorable terms shall be available to all Employer. Such more favorable terms shall be limited to wages, expense reimbursement and travel time provisions, hours and working conditions. (b) In cases where Building Trades Councils have agreed to sign a Project Agreement with more favorable terms on a particular project, this Project Agreement would also be available to all Employer for this particular project only. (c) The Union agrees that it will notify the Insulation Contractors Association of Northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan and all Independent Insulation Contractors in Local 127's jurisdiction of any concessions of more favorable terms as described in (a) of this section. (d) This section 7 will not apply when the Union grants more favorable terms for one year for each newly organized contractor. In addition, the union shall notify the Association of the more favorable terms granted.
