Common use of Fax or email Clause in Contracts

Fax or email. If a notice by fax or email is given: (a) on a day in which business is not generally carried on in the place in which the fax or email is received; or (b) after 4.00 pm (local time) on a day in which business is generally carried on in the place in which the fax or email is received, the notice will be taken to have been given at the commencement of business on the next day in which business is generally carried on in the place in which the fax or email is received.
