Common use of Federal Work Authorization Program Clause in Contracts

Federal Work Authorization Program. (ONLY USE IF THE CONTRACT IS FOR AN AMOUNT GREATER THAN $5,000) Prior to commencement of any work contemplated under this Agreement, Company shall provide to the District a sworn affidavit and other sufficient documentation to affirm its enrollment and participation in the Federal Work Authorization Program. Federal Work Authorization Program means the eVerify program maintained and operated by the United States Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration, or any successor program. Company shall also provide the District a sworn affidavit affirming that it does not knowingly employ any person who is an unauthorized alien in connection with the contracted services.
