The 'Federation Meetings' clause defines the procedures and requirements for convening and conducting meetings of a federation's governing body or members. Federation Meetings. The Federation may use lecture rooms, auditoriums and College classrooms for its meetings when such facilities are not otherwise in use. Each Federation Chapter may hold one regularly scheduled meeting per month and notice of such schedule shall be given to the College prior to September 1. Once notice of any such regularly scheduled meeting is received, the College shall not hold conflicting meetings involving faculty. The Federation Chapters may hold emergency meetings, in addition to monthly meetings, in facilities not otherwise in use provided that faculty with scheduled meetings or duties during the time of such Federation meetings remain at and fulfill such obligations.
Federation Meetings. The Federation shall have the right to use without charge District facilities at reasonable times for the purpose of meetings concerned with its representation rights at the District, provided that such use shall not interfere with, nor interrupt, normal District operations and that arrangement for such use shall be made in accordance with District procedures for assigning meeting rooms.
Federation Meetings. The authorized representative of the Union shall have the right to schedule Federation meetings in the building before or after regular class hours so long as there is no conflict with Article IV, Section A of this contract.

On twenty-four (24) hours' notice to the appropriate authority, the Faculty Federation Educational Services Unit shall have the right to schedule a federation meeting during normal operation hours in the buildings of the campus. After a federation meeting has been scheduled, no other meetings involving faculty members and Educational Services Unit members shall be scheduled at the same time.
Federation Meetings. These meetings are to be held by mutual agreement, as needed. These meetings are to be conducted using the same guidelines set forth in Section (a). The goal is to share information regarding issues that have effect or could have effect outside of a single office.
Federation Meetings. A. Rooms at the College may be used for legitimate Federation meetings provided:
1) Arrangements are made in advance with appropriate college officials and college procedures are followed;
2) There is no interference with College operations.
B. No charge will be made for the use of available rooms at the College’s facilities. However, the Federation will promptly reimburse the College for all necessary security, maintenance and custodial expenses incurred through off-hour use of such rooms (after 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. as well as Saturday, Sunday and Holidays).
C. The Federation accepts responsibility for maintaining the facilities in the condition in which they are received.
Federation Meetings. The County shall allow one Federation Officer, or their alternate, four (4) hours per quarter to attend a FOPPO Chapter President’s meeting. ARTICLE XIII

Meetings between the County and Federation to process grievances, discuss and present disciplinary actions, and generally administer the Agreement may be held, if practicable, during regular working hours, on the premises of the County and without loss of pay to authorized participating employees.
