Common use of Field of Application Clause in Contracts

Field of Application. 2.1 These General Conditions of Purchase are applicable to all Contracts or Purchase Orders in which the Purchaser appears as the buyer, prevailing over possible general conditions of sale or contract of the Supplier including if no specific objection to them has been expressed. 2.2 Any modification or addition to these General Conditions of Purchase will only be valid and effective between the Parties if drawn up in writing and underwritten by the Purchaser.
