Files and Records. 1. Each employee shall have the right to review non-confidential district records maintained in the employee's personnel file. A representative of the Association may accompany the employee in such review. The review shall be done by appointment within five (5) working days of the request. 2. No material, including but not limited to, student, parental, or school personnel complaints originating after initial employment will be placed in an employee's personnel file unless the employee has had the opportunity to review the material. The employee may submit a written notation regarding any material, including complaints, and the same shall be attached to the materials in question. Any employee's signature on materials indicates awareness of but not necessarily agreement with the material.
