FILING AND PROSECUTION OF APPLICATION. As promptly as practicable after the execution of this Agreement, and in no event later than ten (10) business days thereafter, Buyer and Seller shall join in an application to the FCC requesting the FCC's written consent to the assignment of the Licenses of the Stations to Buyer and to the consummation of the transactions contemplated by this Agreement (the "Application"). Both parties shall promptly respond to any requests for the submission of additional information and shall vigorously oppose any protests, petition to deny, petition for reconsideration or appeal of the FCC's consent and approval that may be filed. Buyer and Seller shall proceed with due diligence and promptly take all steps necessary to the expeditious prosecution of such application to a favorable conclusion, using their best efforts throughout.

Both parties shall promptly respond to any requests for the submission of additional information and shall vigorously oppose any protests, petition to deny, petition for reconsideration or appeal of the FCC's consent and approval that may be filed.
