Filing Grievance. The termination of a probationary employee shall not be the subject of a grievance or arbitration and shall be at the sole discretion of the Institute. A claim by an employee who has completed the probationary period that the employee has been discharged without just cause shall be treated as a grievance if a written statement of such grievance is lodged by the employee with the Institute Director at Step Two within seven calendar days following the date on which notice of the discharge was issued.
