The Filing Timeline clause establishes specific deadlines by which parties must submit required documents or filings related to the agreement. In practice, this clause may set out exact dates or timeframes (such as within 30 days of a triggering event) for delivering paperwork, notifications, or regulatory submissions. Its core function is to ensure timely compliance and prevent delays, thereby promoting efficiency and reducing the risk of disputes over late or missing filings.
Filing Timeline. If any grievance is not initiated at Level One within thirty (30) days after the Professional Staff Member knew of the event or condition upon which it is based or with reasonable diligence should have known of such event or condition, the grievance shall be considered waived, shall no longer be deemed a grievance, and may not be processed as such. This thirty (30) day timeline includes the informal level. However, if a condition is recurring, the thirty (30) day time limit will be applied to the most recent occurrence.
