Filling the Position. Notwithstanding the above arbitration, the District shall have the right to fill such modified or new job classification position(s) and pay the employee(s) thus hired the salary range specified therefore by the District. If the arbitrator upholds the Union's position, the award shall become effective the date the job was changed.
