Common use of Final clause Clause in Contracts

Final clause. 10.1 Should any provisions of this Agreement be or become invalid, illegal or unenforceable under applicable law, the other provisions of this Agreement shall not be affected and, to the extent permissible under applicable law, the Parties shall use their best efforts to modify said invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provisions so as to comply with such laws. 10.2 Except as modified by this Agreement and provided by paragraph 4 above, the Original Agreement with its subsequent amendments shall remain in full force and effect and is hereby ratified and confirmed.
