Final Decision of the Board of Trustees. 24.6.1 After the Board of Trustees receives the findings of facts, conclusions of law from the hearing officer, it shall decide whether to adopt, reject, or modify the findings and conclusions by decreasing the recommended discipline, or increasing the recommended discipline not to exceed the discipline initially sought by the District. The Board of Trustees shall base its decision solely on the written record. 24.6.2 The board shall inform the unit member of the decision in writing within thirty (30) working days after receiving the findings of facts, conclusions of law from the hearing officer.
