Final Design Phase. The design phase of the project shall consist of the preparation of completely approved construction documents that reflect the approved Preliminary Engineering Report recommendation accepted by Fort Bend County. The Design shall build upon the framework identified in the Preliminary Engineering Report and include roadway design, profiles, drainage system and appurtenances, details, and the bid documents necessary for a complete design review. The submittal shall be considered final and ready for construction, barring minor comments from Fort Bend County. The Design Submittal shall address all comments from the Preliminary Engineering Phase of the project. The Design Submittal shall include the submittal of the construction ready Plans on 11”x17”, Specifications, and a Cost Estimate (PS&E) in accordance with FBCED requirements. The coordination shall include, but not limited to: • Depict utilities to a reasonable degree of accuracy on the plan and profile drawings. • Utility Conflict Table to be updated during the Final Design Phase as required.
