Common use of Fire Fighting System Clause in Contracts

Fire Fighting System. Fire-fighting system for substation including Transformer and Reactor shall conform to CEA (Measures Relating to Safety and Electric Supply) Regulations, 2023 as amended from time to time. Further, adequate water hydrants and portable fire extinguishers shall be provided in the substations. The main header of the firefighting system shall be suitable for extension to bays covered under the future scope; necessary piping interface in this regard shall be provided. At existing substations, the fire-fighting systems as available shall be extended to meet the additional requirements.
