Common use of First Call Clause in Contracts

First Call. In cases where Article 12 applies, the first worker called thereafter for the carpenty and property department shall be the permanent Head Flyman, in the electrical department, the Assistant Electrician, in the sound department, the Assistant Sound Engineer. When the permanent Head Flyman is called for the carpentry or property departments and is required to return to his principal responsibility, he shall do so on the same call, subject to Clause 8.07.
