Common use of First Call Clause in Contracts

First Call. (a) Regular Employees shall have the right of first refusal of work above their contracted weeks, based on their seniority. (b) The first workers called for any purpose under this agreement shall be first, the Head Technical Director followed by the Assistant Technical Director and then, as required, the other Regular Employees, subject to Clause 14.05 (c). (c) It is understood by the parties to this Agreement that Regular Employees have Areas of Primary Responsibility, and that Regular Employees will act as First Workers Called to their various Areas of Primary Responsibility within their contracted weeks.
