Common use of First Priority Clause in Contracts

First Priority. This Agreement shall be registered as first priority against title to the Land and shall take priority over any vendor take-back mortgages or subsequent mortgages and registrations or any other encumbrances against title to the Land. No work shall be performed on the Land nor any use made of the Land with respect to the proposed development except in conformity with all provisions of this Agreement and appended schedules which form part of this Agreement. The Owner shall, prior to commencing any work on the Land with respect to the proposed development, obtain all necessary permits and approvals from the Municipality and from all Ministries and agencies, including, but not limited to the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority.
