The two principal components of FutureGen 2.0 are first, the repowered coal facility in Meredosia, Morgan County, Illinois, and second, the CO2 pipeline from the power plant to a CO2 storage site in Morgan County, Illinois and the associated final storage site facilities. For purposes of this agreement, the term “Project” does not encompass the transportation of the captured CO2 by pipeline or the permanent storage of the CO2.
