Fixed Term Employment. A Fixed term Employee is an Employee who is employed for a specified period of time, which period is known at the commencement of the contract, or for a specified task, such as employment in specific projects/programs and/or training positions including graduate nurse positions, replacement of Employees on extended leave such as parental leave, long term WorkCover or long service leave, replacement of Employees on secondment and/or temporary reassignment, and post graduate training.

Fixed Term Employment. A Fixed (a) Fixed-term Employee is an Employee employee means a weekly employee who is employed engaged continuously for a specified specific period of timetime or a specific task or tasks not exceeding twelve calendar months. Provided that a temporary employee may, which by agreement between the parties covered by the Agreement, be engaged for an additional period of up to twelve calendar months for the purpose of keeping open the position of an employee who is known at absent due to illness or injury or Parental Leave.
