Common use of Float Time Clause in Contracts

Float Time. 6.2.10.1 The total Float Time within the overall schedule is for the exclusive use of City, but City may approve Contractor’s use of Float as needed to meet Agreement Milestones and the Project completion date. 6.2.10.2 Contractor will not be allowed to sequence, hide, or reallocate Float Time through such strategies, as extending activity duration estimates to consume available Float, using preferential logic, or using extensive crew/resource sequencing, tec. No time extensions will be granted nor delay damages paid until a delay occurs which extends the Work beyond the Agreement Time.
