Common use of Floating Workday Clause in Contracts

Floating Workday. One full substitute day, which may be split into half days, will be available for each teacher as a floating workday. The date shall be determined at least five (5) school days in advance in consultation with their administrator and shall be used at the discretion of the teacher to relieve workload issues. The administrator shall consult with the teacher to determine another possible date if there is a conflict. Work may occur at any District location after consultation with their administrator.
