Common use of Floor-Shared Areas Clause in Contracts

Floor-Shared Areas. FLOOR-SHARED AREAS" means the square footage of the areas within (and measured from the mid-point of the walls enclosing) public corridors, elevator foyers, rest rooms, mechanical rooms, janitor closets, telephone and equipment rooms, and other similar facilities for the use of all tenants on the floor on which the Leased Premises are located. In the case of a floor leased to more than one tenant, the allocation to the Leased Premises of the Floor-Shared Areas on said floor shall be equal to the total Floor-Shared Areas on said floor multiplied by a fraction, the numerator of which is the Usable Area of the Leased Premises located on said floor and the denominator of which is the Usable Area of said floor.
