Common use of FOP RECOGNITION Clause in Contracts

FOP RECOGNITION. Section 2.1. The Employer recognizes the FOP as the sole and exclusive representative for those employees of the Employer in the bargaining unit(s). Wherever used in this Agreement, the term “bargaining unit” shall be deemed to include those full- time employees employed by the Employer in a classification listed as appropriate to a Sergeant bargaining unit, as certified by the Ohio State Employment Relations Board in case number 84-RC-05-1094, as amended on January 4, 2007 in case number 06- Rep-09-0122. Section 2.2. All management level employees, confidential employees, professional employees, corporals, police officers, part-time, seasonal and casual employees, supervisory employees as defined in the Ohio Revised Code and all other employees of the Employer not classified as Sergeant are specifically excluded from the bargaining unit.
