For Participating Teachers With An Unsatisfactory Evaluation. 18.3.1.1 Any permanent teacher with an overall unsatisfactory evaluation must participate in the Program. 18.3.1.2 The Consulting Teacher’s assistance and review shall focus on the specific areas recommended for improvement by the Participating Teacher’s evaluator after the Participating Teacher receives the unsatisfactory rating in the areas specified in Sections 9 of the Agreement. 18.3.1.2.1 These recommendations shall be written, aligned with student learning, clearly stated, and consistent with Education Code Section 44662. These recommendations shall be considered as the performance goals required by Education Code Sections 44664(a) and 44500(b)(2). 18.3.1.2.2 At the beginning of the academic year, the Principal, the Participating Teacher, and the Consulting Teacher assigned to the Participating Teacher shall meet and discuss the recommended areas of improvement outlined by the Principal and the types of assistance that should be provided by the Consulting teacher set forth in Section
