Common use of For the purposes Clause in Contracts

For the purposes. of this clause, "salary" shall mean the salary payable to the Teacher at 1 December of the year in which the loading is payable, together with, where applicable, the allowances prescribed by subclause 8.8 – Special Education Teacher allowance and Clause 9 - Promotion Positions, but not including any other allowances or amount otherwise payable in addition to salary.
