Common use of FOREST PROTECTION Clause in Contracts

FOREST PROTECTION. 25 (1) The Minister agrees to provide and maintain an organization of people and equipment necessary for the protection of the forest from and suppression of forest fires on the forest management area and, except as herein otherwise provided, to pay the cost of fighting any forest fire that originates on the forest management area on the understanding that the Minister will not be liable for damages to the Companies resulting from a failure to prevent, control or suppress any fire.
