Forfeiture of Interest Sample Clauses

The Forfeiture of Interest clause stipulates that a party may lose its right to receive interest under certain conditions, typically as a penalty for breaching the agreement or failing to meet specific obligations. In practice, this means that if a party defaults on payments or violates terms, any accrued or future interest that would have been owed to them can be withheld or cancelled. This clause serves to incentivize compliance with the contract and protects the non-breaching party from financial loss due to the other party's misconduct.
