Formal and Informal. Observations 1. When applicable, each formal observation shall include an in-class observation of at least forty-five (45) minutes at a time, or an observation during a complete lesson, or an observation during a complete class period. 2. All formal observations shall be conducted openly and with full knowledge of the teacher. 3.
