Foundation Survey and Endorsement Clause Samples

The Foundation Survey and Endorsement clause requires that a survey of the property's foundation be conducted and that the results be formally acknowledged or endorsed by relevant parties. Typically, this involves hiring a qualified surveyor to assess the foundation's condition and boundaries, with the findings documented and accepted by both buyer and seller, or by the lender if applicable. This clause ensures that all parties have a clear understanding of the property's foundational integrity and legal boundaries, thereby reducing the risk of future disputes or unexpected repair costs.
