Common use of FRAMEWORK PERIOD Clause in Contracts

FRAMEWORK PERIOD. This Framework Agreement shall take effect on the Framework Commencement Date and shall expire, unless it is terminated earlier in accordance with the terms of this Framework Agreement or otherwise by operation of Law, either at the end of the Initial Framework Period; or where the Authority elects to extend the Initial Framework Period in accordance with Clause 10.2 below, at the end of the Extension Framework Period. The Authority may extend the duration of this Framework Agreement for any period or periods up to a maximum of one (1) year in total from the expiry of the Initial Framework Period by giving the Supplier no less than three (3) Months' written notice.
