Freezing orders Clause Samples

A freezing order is a legal mechanism that restricts a party from disposing of or dealing with certain assets. Typically, this clause is used in situations where there is a risk that a defendant may dissipate assets to frustrate the enforcement of a potential judgment, and it can apply to bank accounts, property, or other valuable holdings. The core function of a freezing order is to preserve assets so that they remain available to satisfy a court judgment, thereby preventing parties from undermining the legal process by hiding or transferring assets.
