Common use of From Work Clause in Contracts

From Work. Employees will be required to be at their work stations at the commencement of their shift. Late- ness may be a subject for disciplinary action. Pay deductions for lateness will commence when the actual starting time is three (3) minutes after the starting time of the shift. Pay deductions for late- ness will be made in six (6) minute increments. After recording their arrival the employee will re- port immediately to their supervisor. An employee is expected to be at work or to get the permission of supervisor for any foresee- able absence. When an employee is absent due to unexpected illness, accident, injury or other justifi- able reasons, it shall be sole responsibility to notify the Company by calling shift su- pervisor, or other persons designated by the Com- pany as soon as possible and not later than two hours after commencement of the shift.
