Fronting Fee and Documentary and Processing Charges Payable to Issuing Bank Clause Samples

This clause establishes the obligation of the borrower or applicant to pay specific fees and charges to the issuing bank in connection with a financial instrument, such as a letter of credit or guarantee. These fees typically include a fronting fee, which compensates the issuing bank for assuming the primary risk, as well as documentary and processing charges related to the preparation, review, and handling of required documents. By clearly outlining these payment responsibilities, the clause ensures that the issuing bank is compensated for its services and that all parties understand the costs involved in the transaction.
