Working under only general direction, provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Minimum General Experience. 4 or more years of functional experience. Minimum Education. BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Functional Responsibility. Experienced with frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, and theories. Works under general supervision, providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity. Minimum General Experience. 2 or more years of functional experience. Minimum Education. BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Functional Responsibility. Inexperienced with limited use and/or application of technical principles. Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope following detailed instructions. Work is closely supervised. Minimum General Experience. 0-2 years of functional experience. Minimum Education. BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Functional Responsibility. Manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments. Often heads one or more sections or a small department. Selects and hires candidates for management positions within department, conducts performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff. Is responsible for the development of departmental policies. The functional activities will be the most complex and decisions will have a major impact on business operations for the entire directorate and throughout the company. Minimum General Experience. 10 or more years of relevant experience. Minimum Education.
