Funding Policy and Method. The benefits under the Plan are funded by Plan Sponsor. The cost of providing these benefits is paid through contributions by Plan Sponsor and/or Covered Persons. Plan Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may purchase one or more policies of insurance to offset some portion of the cost of funding benefits under the Plan.
Funding Policy and Method. UDLP from time to time shall estimate the -------------------------- benefits, withdrawals, and administrative expenses to be paid out of the Trust Fund in cash during the period for which the estimate is made and shall also estimate the contributions to be made to the Plan during such period by Participants and by UDLP. UDLP shall inform the Trustee of the estimated cash needs of and contributions to the Plan during the period for which such estimates are made. Such estimates shall be made on an annual, quarterly, monthly, or other basis, as UDLP shall determine.
Funding Policy and Method. The Plan Assets shall be held under and the benefits under the Plan shall be funded through such trusts as the Board, in its sole discretion, may establish or cause to be established for the purposes of carrying out the Plan. The Board shall determine the form and terms of any such trust, from time to time, consistent with the objectives of the Plan, ERISA and any other applicable legal requirements, and may remove any trustee and select a successor trustee or trustees or may terminate any such trust. Any such trust so established and maintained is and shall be a part of the Plan.

The Employer or its delegate shall communicate such needs and goals to the Trustee, who shall coordinate such Plan needs with its investment policy. The communication of such a "funding policy and method" shall not, however, constitute a directive to the Trustee as to investment of the Trust Funds. Such "funding policy and method" shall be consistent with the objectives of this Plan and with the requirements of Title I of the Act.
