General Faculty Responsibilities. 16.2.1. The Division Chair model is currently used by five (5) Division Areas: Math, English, Natural Science, Social Science, and Humanities. New Divisions, and consequently new Division Chairs, may be added by agreement of the Chief Academic Officer and faculty in curriculum areas not currently represented by a Division Chair.

Instruct students based on the official Course Outline of Record (COR) and the official student learning outcomes for the program and the course. B. Assess and grade student achievement of learning outcomes and submit grades in accordance with established College timelines. C. Submit census rosters, positive attendance rosters, and class rosters in accordance with the established College deadlines. D. Communicate with students in a timely manner; provide regular and effective contact with students in online classes when assigned. E. Participate in the faculty evaluation process as outlined in Article 14. F. Participate in training as determined by the law, regulations and/or policy. G. Provide services to students in a manner which does not discriminate as to race, ethnicity, religion, color, national origin, disability, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation or marital status. H. Teaching faculty assigned to programs that train students for employment in fields which require certification or licensure shall possess and maintain certification or licensure which meets or exceeds that required for employment in the field. I. Comply with Governing Board policies, District procedures, accreditation requirements, Chancellor’s Office Guidelines, Education Code, Title 5, as well as other procedures and deadlines established through the College’s participatory governance process.

  • University Responsibilities 4.1 The University will provide a room accommodation to The Resident for a period of one academic year or the portion of the academic year remaining when occupancy begins (limited to the subsequent fall and spring semesters) exclusive of the Winter Recess period unless The Resident is assigned to a facility that remains open during this time or is approved to live on-campus during Winter Recess. Services provided by the University begin on the official check-in dates for the specific area and include access to the assigned building and room. 4.2 In accordance with University policy, the University will provide staff that will help facilitate a living experience that complements the academic mission of the University. 4.3 Exclusive of unanticipated weather events and building system failures that may disrupt service and subject to the availability of applicable resources, the University will provide adequate light, heat, electricity, hot water and telecommunication services (limited to video and internet connection) to residents. Student rooms shall be furnished.

  • County Responsibilities 5.1 The COUNTY shall designate a COUNTY staff member to act as COUNTY’s Project Manager. It is agreed to by the parties that the COUNTY’s Project Manager will decide all questions, difficulties, or disputes, of whatever nature, which may arise relative to the interpretation of the plans, construction, prosecution and fulfillment of the Scope of Services, and as to the character, quality, amount and value of any work done, and materials furnished, under or by reason of this Agreement. The COUNTY’s Project Manager may appoint representatives as desired that will be authorized to inspect all work done and all materials furnished. 5.2 The COUNTY shall pay in accordance with the provisions set forth in this Agreement. 5.3 The COUNTY retains the right to inspect all work to verify compliance with the contract documents. Such inspection may extend to all or any part of the work and to the manufacture, preparation or fabrication of the materials to be used.

  • Contractor’s General Responsibilities The Contractor, regardless of any delegation or subcontract entered by the Contractor, shall be responsible for the following when providing Information Technology Staff Augmentation Services: 3.1 The Contractor is responsible for the comprehensive management of Staff. Staff shall not be deemed an employee of the State or deemed to be entitled to any benefits associated with such employment and the Contractor shall be responsible for the administration and maintenance of all employment and payroll records, payroll processing, remittance of payroll and taxes, and all administrative tasks required by State and federal law associated with payment of Staff. 3.2 The Contractor shall provide Staff in accordance with Customer Request for Quotes (RFQ), and as described in Exhibit H, Job Family Descriptions document. Customers may include a detailed scope of work, specific requirements of the work to be performed, and any requirements of Staff within the Request for Quotes. 3.3 The Contractor shall possess the professional and technical Staff necessary to allocate, outsource, and manage qualified Staff to perform the services requested by the Customer. 3.4 The Contractor shall provide Customers with Staff who have sufficient skill and experience to perform the services assigned to them. 3.5 The Contractor is responsible for ensuring that all Information Technology Staff Augmentation Services furnished under the Contract meet the professional standards and quality that prevails among information technology professionals in the same discipline and of similar knowledge and skill engaged in related work throughout Florida under the same or similar circumstances. 3.6 The Contractor shall provide, at its own expense, any training necessary for keeping Contractor’s Staff abreast of industry advances and for maintaining proficiency in equipment and systems that are available on the commercial market. 3.7 The Contractor shall, at its own expense, be responsible for adhering to the Contract background screening requirements, testing, evaluations, advertising, recruitment, and disciplinary actions of Contractor’s Staff. 3.8 The Contractor, throughout the term of the Contract, shall maintain all licenses, permits, qualifications, insurance, and approvals of whatever nature that are legally required for Contractor and Staff to perform the Information Technology Staff Augmentation Services. 3.9 Contractor shall be responsible for all costs associated with the administration of this Contract. 3.10 The Contractor shall adhere to all work policies, procedures, and standards established by the Department and Customer. 3.11 The Contractor shall ensure that Staff conform with the Customer’s policies in all respects while on the Customer’s premises, and is responsible for obtaining all rules, regulations, policies, etc. 3.12 The Contractor shall only provide Information Technology Staff Augmentation services for those Job Titles awarded to the Contractor. Contractor shall be paid on an hourly basis unless Customer requests in their RFQ a project-based pricing structure in accordance with Section 9.5, below.

  • Specific Responsibilities Without limiting the responsibilities of the Manager, the Manager will: 1. Maintain office facilities (which may be in the offices of the Manager or a corporate affiliate but shall be in such location as the Trust reasonably determines). 2. Furnish statistical and research data, clerical services and stationery and office supplies. 3. Compile data for, prepare for execution by the Fund and file all the Fund’s federal and state tax returns and required tax filings other than those required by this Agreement to be made by the Fund’s custodian and transfer agent. 4. Prepare compliance filings pursuant to state securities laws with the advice of the Trust’s counsel. 5. Prepare the Trust’s Annual and Semi-Annual Reports to Shareholders and amendments to its Registration Statements (on Form N-1A or any replacement therefor). 6. Compile data for, prepare and file timely Notices to the SEC required pursuant to Rule 24f-2 under the 1940 Act. 7. Determine the daily pricing of the portfolio securities and computation of the net asset value and the net income of Fund in accordance with the Prospectus, resolutions of the Trust’s Board of Trustees, and the procedures set forth in EXHIBIT A: NET ASSET VALUE CALCULATIONS. 8. Keep and maintain the financial accounts and records of the Fund and provide the Trust with certain reports, as needed or requested by the Fund. 9. Provide officers for the Trust as requested by the Trust’s Board of Trustees. 10. Perform fund accounting services for the Fund as set forth in EXHIBIT B: FUND ACCOUNTING FUNCTIONS. 11. Generally assist in all aspects of the operations of the Fund.
