GENERAL RULES AND WORKING CONDITIONS. (A) Eight (8) hours shall constitute a regular day’s work and five (5) consecutive days shall constitute the regular week’s work for employees, Monday to Friday, inclusive. Workmen are to report at 7:30 a.m. to their respective headquarters and be returned to their respective headquarters at 3:30 p.m. Employees shall be entitled to a twenty (20) minute paid lunch period beginning at 12:00 noon provided said time period may be changed when it interferes with maintaining or restoring continuous electrical service to the members. Lunch periods are to be taken at the job site. (B) Four (4) day, ten (10) hour per day, work week schedules may be utilized upon mutual agreement between the Cooperative and the employees under the following stipulations: (1) The schedule will be Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday. (2) The hours will be 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (3) During the week of a holiday, those working a four (4) day, ten (10) hour per day schedule, will revert back to the schedule stated in Section 5.01 (A). (4) The breakfast meal period time will move to 5:30 a.m. The lunch period meal time will move to 11:00 a.m. The supper/dinner meal period time will move to 6:00 p.m. (5) The hours stated in Section 5.6 refer to the schedule stated in Section 5.1 (A). When an employee is working a four (4) day, ten (10) hour per day schedule, the hours stated in Section 5.6 are to be adjusted respectively. (6) Paid days not worked, for any reason, will be paid in the same hourly increments as the schedule the individual employee is working (no benefit levels are increased due to an employee working a four (4) day, ten (10) hour per day schedule). (7) Schedule changes may be requested by either party, upon mutual agreement, as long as a five (5) working day notice is given.
