Geophysical Utility Locating. Design Professional will perform a subsurface infrastructure survey to delineate detectable underground features/obstructions including utilities, pipelines, and other potential obstructions at key locations along the proposed alignment. This detection will be accomplished through the use of a Geonics EM61 MK2 time domain instrument, ▇▇▇▇▇▇ M-Scope TW-6 pipe and cable locator, RD8000 line tracer, Schonstedt magnetic gradiometer, and GSSI SIR 4000 Ground Penetration Radar (GPR) unit with a 350 MHz digital transducer. The findings will be marked out on the ground surface with spray paint and/or pin feathers. Geophysical utility locating will be performed at the following intersections: • Between Ace Street and ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ • Spa Street • Glade Street South • Glade Street North • ▇▇▇▇ Street • ▇▇▇▇▇ Street • ▇▇▇▇▇ Street Design Professional will provide surveying support to locate the field data for the project MicroStation base map. Design Professional will also update the information in the MicroStation base map using the results of the geophysical utility locating. See A.   • Alpine Areas As of 1 March 2024, the Employer shall pay an Alpine disability allowance of $4.45 for hours worked on Projects in alpine areas.
