Geotechnical and Drilling Services Clause Samples

The "Geotechnical and Drilling Services" clause defines the scope and requirements for any geotechnical investigations and drilling activities to be performed under the contract. It typically outlines the standards to be followed, the types of tests or samples to be collected, and the qualifications required for personnel conducting the work. For example, it may specify that soil borings, rock coring, or groundwater monitoring must be completed before construction begins. This clause ensures that subsurface conditions are properly assessed, reducing the risk of unforeseen site issues and supporting informed decision-making during project planning and execution.
